West Ham will meet Manchester United and Fulham will host Chelsea in a great London derby at the Craven Cottage on Wednesday, April 17th

West Ham vs Man United on Wednesday, April 17th at 19:45

Going into their game against leaders Manchester United, West Ham currently sit in 12th position, 8 points clear of the relegation zone. The hammers come into the game on the back 1 defeat in their last 5 matches. Now that top scorer Andy Carroll is fully fit again, West Ham will need him to add to his already 6 goals this season. Man United will also need to be wary of Kevin Nolan. This season Nolan has also contributed 6 goals to West Ham’s campaign. Man United have all but wrapped up the Premier League title as they are currently 15 points clear at the top of the league with only 6 games to play. Man United come into the game as the second most in form team in the league having lost just 1 of their last 6 matches. West Ham will need to keep an eye on Man United’s top goal scorer Robin Van Persie who is back in the goals after scoring at the weekend against Stoke City. The Dutchman is currently ranked 2nd in the Premier League goal scoring charts 2 goals behind Liverpool’s Luis Suarez.

Fulham vs Chelsea on Wednesday, April 17th at 20:00

Fulham are seemingly safe from relegation with them currently sitting in 10th position having reached 40 points. Chelsea will have to be wary of Fulham striker Dimitar Berbatov who has already scored 13 goals in his first season for Fulham since joining from Manchester United. Chelsea will be looking to bounce back from their FA Cup semi-final defeat and focus on their battle for the Champions League spots. As it stands they sit 4th in the league but are on the same amount of points as Tottenham in 5th. Chelsea will need top scorers Demba Ba and Juan Mata to continue their form until the end of the season to maintain their hopes of qualifying for the Champions League.
