04.12.2013. Today, Hull will travel to the Emirates where they face the Gunners. Wenger’s team is motivated to extend the lead in the Premier League. ManUnited will face Everton in another great north derby at Old Trafford and Fulham will host Tottenham.

Arsenal vs Hull on Wednesday, 4th December at 19:45

Both Arsenal and visitors Hull go into Wednesday evening’s clash on the back of impressive wins at the weekend. Arsenal’s 3-0 win at Cardiff last Saturday put the Gunners four points clear at the top of the table; meanwhile Hull will be buoyant from their victory over Liverpool at the KC Stadium on Sunday. With a busy Christmas schedule of matches, Arsenal boss, Arsene Wenger could be tempted make changes. This could see Theo Walcott included following a spell on the bench after he recovered from an abductor injury.

Hull will be without Paul McShane and Sone Aluko who remain absent with Injuries, but Liam Rosenior could feature. The Tigers have won just one of their six previous trips to Arsenal. Many will remember that victory, as Geovanni’s wonder goal gave newly promoted Hull a 2-1 victory at the Emirates Stadium back in 2008.

Manchester United vs Everton on Wednesday, 4th December at 19:45

Manchester United’s meeting with Everton at Old Trafford on Wednesday night will be David Moyes first reunion with his former club since he departed to United in the summer. Moyes enjoyed 11 years at Goodison, but now welcomes an Everton side who are going very well under his successor, Roberto Martinez.

One of Martinez’s biggest successes this season is the loan signing of teenager Romanu Lukaku from Chelsea. The Belgian Striker’s goal scoring form has made a big impact on Everton’s impressive displays so far this campaign, and he’ll be looking to grab the headlines again on Wednesday night.

Manchester United sit two points behind Everton in eighth place, and if United want to be seen as serious title contenders this season, this a must win game; A loss could see them 12 points behind leaders Arsenal if they win their game at home to Hull.

Fulham vs Tottenham Hotspur on Wednesday, 4th December at 19:45

Fulham this week said goodbye to Manager Martin Jol with Rene Meulensteen now taking sole charge of the cottagers. Meulensteen will be hoping for a reaction from his players, who have suffered six straight defeats.

Spurs held Manchester United on Sunday which would have helped raise confidence levels in the camp, ahead of this London Derby. If Spurs want a top 4 finish, nothing short of a win will do on Wednesday night.
