West Bromwich Albion v Chelsea on November 17th

The Hawthorns has been a fortress this season with the Baggies’ playing six games there so far, winning five and only losing one – that one being against Manchester City when they were unlucky to lose after being in front for large parts of the game. West Brom have also managed to keep three clean sheets at home, but they face a tough task in the form of the European Champions Chelsea. Chelsea have only lost once this season and that was to tough opponents Manchester United, so they are unbeaten on the road including victories at both Arsenal and Tottenham. Chelsea need a win in order to have chance of going top again while if West Brom win they can keep up the chase on the top 4 spots.

In their previous fixture against Wigan, West Brom were able to welcome back James Morrison after a hamstring problem but they lost Ben Foster with a groin injury. He will be doubtful for this game after struggling to kick a ball in the Baggies’ game against Southampton and Boaz Myhill will replace him between the sticks.

Chelsea captain John Terry will definitely be available as he completed his four match domestic ban and was also available for their last game against Liverpool. Ashley Cole and Frank Lampard still remain doubtful but they can be confident in the fitness of the instrumental trio of Juan Mata, Oscar and Eden Hazard.
