The Champions League is the top European football competition and is organised by UEFA since 1955. Every year, the top 32 European teams compete for the prestigious football crown. Real Madrid is the record champions having won the trophy nine times. The current champions is Chelsea FC, who surprisingly beat Bayern Munich in an great final after penalties. This year’s final will be played at Wembley Stadium on May 25th and will see Bayern face Borussia Dortmund. It is the first time, two German team meet in the Champions League final.
