Wladimir Klitschko (UKRAINE – 59-3-0) will fight on November 10th 2012 against Marius Wach from Poland (POLAND – 27-0-0). This will be Klitschko’s 23rd championship fight and will take place at the O2 Arena in Hamburg on November 10th 2012.
Klitschko is also known as Dr. Steelhammer, is the current WBA, IBF, WBO, IBO & The Ring Heavyweight Champion. His record is impressive: 61 fights – 59 wins (50 KO’s) and lost 3. Klitschko is 198cm and has a reach of 206cm. His last fight in Hamburg was in July 2011, when he won in a spectacular manner against David Haye and unified the belts from the WBA, IBF, WBO, IBO & The Ring Heavyweight Champion. Wach will be a tough opponent. For the first time, Wladimir is boxing someone taller than him.
Mariusz Wach is Polish and known as “The Viking”. He won all of his 27 fights – 15 by KO and is currently the WBC International heavyweight title holder. He is 202cm and has a reach of 208cm. The 32-year-old will be the fourth Polish contender in history who will try to get the world title in the heavyweight division and his is confident bolstering: “I am not a former cruiserweight, but a real heavyweight. Klitschko will take a lot of hard punches before I knock him out. I will be the first Polish world heavyweight champion.”
