New York Knicks – Matches and Tickets 2013/14

The New York Knicks are members of the Atlantic Division of the Eastern Conference in the NBA and, along with the Boston Celtics, are one of only two NBA teams to remain in the same city where they were formed. New York Knicks tickets are available now for the season 2013/14.

Current

New York Knicks ticket holders will be hoping to see their team claim the Atlantic Division title again as they did last season and progress past the second round of the Playoffs. The Eastern Conference is looking extremely competitive in 2013/14 with Boston, Brooklyn, Chicago, Indiana and Philadelphia all looking to make it to the Conference Finals so the New York Knicks will need Carmelo Anthony to have a good season and to find consistency in both offence and defence to achieve their ambitions.

2012/13 saw the New York Knicks team win the Atlantic Division ahead of the Brooklyn Nets, Boston Celtics, Philadelphia 76ers and the Toronto Raptors and therefore progress into the playoffs where they defeated the Boston Celtics by four games to two. Much to the disappointment of their fans, the Knicks were eliminated in the following round by an impressive Indiana Pacers team.

The Knicks current team captains are small forward Carmelo Anthony and power forward Amar’e Stoudemire. At point guard the Knicks play Raymond Felton while Iman Shumpert is the current shooting guard and Tyson Chandler plays at center. Carmelo Anthony has been the star of the New York Knicks team since joining in 2011 and averaged 28.7 points per game over 66 games last season.
