History

Miami Heat are a professional basketball team based in Miami, Florida who play their games in the Southeast division of the NBA. The Heat were formed in 1988 and since then have continued to become a success breaking records and winning honours along the way. The success has continued right up to this year as the side collected their third League Championship – the other two coming in 2006 and in 2012. Miami also enjoyed their best spell of basketball this year after an unbeaten run breaking the teams record and also having the second longest winning streak in NBA history after 27 wins in a row from February through to the end of March. The longest winning streak is 33 wins set by the LA Lakers.
