Hannover 96 – Matches and Tickets 2012/2013

Hannover 96, also known as 96, is one of the biggest surprises of the last season. Its new attacking football brought the team back to the Europa League.

Current Situation

Several factors caused the incredibly positive development of Hannover 96 in recent years. Perhaps the most important one was the appointment of current Manager Mirko Slomka. Under Slomka, the club developed an attractive attacking style which brought the club back to glory since 2010/11. Since then the team has qualified for the Europa League every year.

Another reason for the success was the squad. Goalkeeper Ron-Robert Zieler had an incredible season in 2011/12. The young talent, Zieler, was selected for the German national team and was the third goalie behind Neuer at the EURO 2012 following the past season.

No shows booked at the moment.

Hannover finished the 2010/11 season fourth in the table and qualified for the Europa League. There the team surprised internationally with outstanding performances against FC Sevilla and was eliminated in the semi-final against Atletico Madrid. Hannover 96 also performed in the Bundesliga finishing 7th in the 2011/12 season and qualifying for another year in the Europa League.

Mirko Slomka can continue his work at Hannover 96 and build on the success of the previous years. There are great expectations in Hannover with fans hoping for another season of great performances. Only Emanuel Pogatetz, a key defensive player, left the club for Wolfsburg. All the other top players of the last seasons, such as Zieler, Ya Konan, Jan Schlaudraff, Lars Stindl and Karim Haggui, remain in Hannover. Four new players joined the club including the Brazilian defender Felipe and Japan’s Hiroki Sakai. Here are the main fixtures and ticket opportunities:
