Australian Open: Andy Murray losses to Novak Djokovic in the final!

Novak Djokovic wins the Australian Open after a dramatic 6:7, 7:6, 6:3, 6:2 win against Andy Murray. It’s the first time that a player won three successive Australian Open titles.

Djokovic put in another gear in the fourth set and Murray was’t able to keep up. It’s was amazing to watch and Djokovic is unbeatable when he does that. The fourth set was clearly dominated by Djokovic who went up 4:1. The Serb served for the match point after 3:40 hours and said after the match: “It’s an incredible feeling winning this trophy again. It’s definitely my favourite Grand Slam, my most successful Grand Slam. I love this court.”

Djokovic is immense and can win all 4 Grand Slams this year. The French is the only one that might cause him a problem- and that’s only if Rafa comes back better than ever. Djokovic won his his sixth Grand Slam title and secured $2,430,000 AUD.

The next Grand Slam are the French Open from May 21st to June 9th followed by Wimbledon from June 24th to July 9th.
