Britain’s tennis star Andy Murray stormed through the Aegon’s Tennis Championships to claim the top spot yesterday, sending fans into a ticket frenzy ahead of Wimbledon. viagogo, the world’s largest ticket marketplace, has already seen a surge in ticket demand for the hotly anticipated Wimbledon Championship following Andy’s win.
As support for Murray accelerates, the ticket marketplace has seen an 237 per cent increase in ticket searches ahead of the summer competition as fans try to secure a seat to watch their hero in action. Tickets for the men’s Wimbledon final are currently trading at £2,950 ahead of the match which is due to take place on 7th July.
